Aaliyah Jay approached me wanting to create a website/personal blog for her brand.
With a combined social media following of over 5 million, she wanted to create a personal space to share her views and stories on topics such as love, beauty and life lessons.
It was important to her to create a site that allowed her supporters to feel
connected to her and as though they were taking a peak into her life.

Aaliyah Jay is widely known for her reputation of being 'the it girl' I leaned into this when
creating her brand identity. Being the It girl means being confident and bold; we created a bright and feminine colour palette and used fun typography.
The concept behind her website was to make it feel as personal as possible.
By including personal messages from aaliyah, imagery & references to her hometown of new york
and fun features such as 'fun facts about me' the site is dynamic and an extension of her brand.
